The SEO Account Manager works under the supervision of the Director, Earned Media and/or the Vice President, Client Services. This position is responsible for the creation and implementation of key SEO strategies, including optimizing on page site elements and site structure, content creation, and off page link building and awareness tactics. The SEO Account Manager also has full understanding of their clients’ core business and works to support achievement of their business and marketing goals.

Additionally, the SEO Account Manager ensures strong working relationships, manages day-to-day activities and direction for client, as well as develops briefs, manages client budget, creates presentations/decks, and facilitates inter-departmental work. This position works to ensure all project aspects are in line with search engine objectives and completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Summary of essential job functions:

· Planning, implementation, and ongoing management of link building strategies

· Keyword research and analysis

· Site architecture analysis

· Client Search Engine ranking analysis and reporting

• Responsible for acting as the face of NextLeft to portfolio of clients

• Researches clients and develops a deep understanding of their business, marketing objectives, revenue model, and their internal team structure

· Work with clients and internal teams to help educate and understand the SEO process and principles

· Monitoring and managing daily progress of search engine campaign details including strategy & implementation, copywriting, budgets, and reporting

· Closely monitor campaigns and work with internal teams to ensure client goals are met

· Trend analysis and Web Analytics interpretation to make appropriate campaign strategy adjustments

· Research opportunities with regards to new technologies or vendors

· Contribute to team efforts to maintain in-depth knowledge of industry current events and trends

· Identify organic search opportunities within client campaigns

Knowledge of the following theory, principles, practices and/or content:

· Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithm and ranking strategies

· Experience with SEO for complex database-driven websites and an understanding of database-driven websites strongly preferred

· Ability to break down complex ideas/concepts/strategies to both clients and other team members

· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Experience with tools like: Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Search Console etc.

· Experience with the MS Office software suite

· Marketing fundamentals

Other Requirements and Characteristics:

The work requires light physical exertion with periods of standing, sitting, and walking; limited bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 pounds

· 1-3 years online advertising and SEO experience

· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive, yet fun environment while managing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines

The Sr. SEO Specialist works under the supervision of the Director, Earned Media. This position is responsible for the creation and implementation of key SEO strategies, including optimizing on page site elements and site structure, content creation, and off page link building and awareness tactics. Working from a project plan prepared in a collaborative effort with the Client Services team, this position works to ensure all project aspects are in line with search engine objectives and completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Summary of essential job functions

· Site architecture analysis

· Client Search Engine ranking analysis and reporting

· Work with clients and internal teams to help educate and understand the SEO process and principles

· Basic knowledge of paid search tools and strategies as well as an awareness of emerging opportunities

· Experience with SEO for complex database-driven websites and an understanding of database-driven websites strongly preferred

· Ability to break down complex ideas/concepts/strategies to both clients and other team members

· Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web design

· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

· Strong aptitude and interest in technology, the internet, & experience with a variety of platforms

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
