Content & Blog Audit Services
Does your website have hundreds of blog posts that aren’t pulling in the volume of traffic that they should be? If so, you need a content audit from NextLeft! Oftentimes, blog content is produced without any real strategy and many companies fall victim to a collection of common content marketing mistakes. If your business could use a critical look at the content that has been produced, then a content audit is the perfect solution.
What are Content Audits?
A content audit is the process of evaluating the current performance of blogs or articles on a website and offering suggestions on how to improve them. During a content audit, the goal is to identify:
- Pieces of low performing content that need optimization
- Duplicate content that can be consolidated
- High quality content that should be preserved
- Content that is written well but needs better keyword targeting
- Old content that is no longer relevant
- Content that can be no-indexed or removed
Once these issues have been identified, it both provides a roadmap for updating existing content and future content strategy.
The Content Audit Process
At NextLeft, our process for auditing content on a website includes:
First we collect data on your content performance such as traffic, bounce rate, conversions and conversion rate.
After finding the correct keywords for targeting, we then identify where the best content opportunities exist and which posts deserve the most attention.
Lastly, we come up with next steps for improving the article or making fixes. These include: metadata updates, content consolidation, full rewrites, or no indexing low performing content.
Who Needs an SEO Content Audit?
If your website has been producing blog content or articles on a regular basis but you are not seeing a return on investment in terms of traffic or conversions, then a content audit is a great solution.
Instead of pouring money into more content, it may make sense to go back and evaluate what has already been written to ensure that it is pointed in the right direction.
When it comes to producing content, always quality over quantity.
If you need help with your content marketing strategy, an existing content audit is a great place to start. Not only can small tweaks lead to large ranking and traffic improvements,
but it can also help educate future content decisions moving forward. Contact NextLeft and see how an existing content audit can help your bottom line today!
The technology we work with
Turning content into customers…
You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers.
Your Title Goes Here

It’s simple… in-house marketing teams can’t do it all, but in order to compete in today’s market they need to. That’s where valuable, sustainable, and trusted partnerships are vital. At NextLeft, we only partner with in-house marketing teams to accelerate marketing efforts and maximize growth. This is what we do best.
Together, our senior digital marketers and your in-house leads, partner to create a lay a foundation, create a sustainable path forward, and ever-improve along the way. Our work is catered to you so that a partnership reduces your workload, not increases it. Just like that… viola! No more unnecessary stress because together we can achieve more.
What can NextLeft do for me?
Today’s consumers are on-the-go and want useful, relevant information on demand. To win in today’s competitive market, your business needs to be visible in top search engine results, provide consumers the information they are searching for, and establish trust. Not a short order… we know. Luckily, we have a plan (& we know it works).
First, before we take on any client at NextLeft we conduct a complimentary website audit. This in-depth audit of your site takes a look at overall site health, technical recommendations, competitor analysis, preliminary keyword research, and highlights big opportunities for online growth. Next, after we review the audit and get feedback, our team creates a proposal that includes strategic recommendations, services, and a timeline. Finally, once you decide to partner with us you are assigned to a pod (your new 2-4 person marketing team extension) that will be on your account for the duration of our partnership. This team will get design and execute your plan while providing ongoing support, transparency, and communication along the way.
How do I know if NextLeft is right for me/us?
We partner specifically with in-house marketing teams, however, sometimes there are unique exceptions. Not sure? Let’s talk it out in the discovery phase. If we aren’t a match, we will give you industry advice on where to go- free of charge.
How does NextLeft manage workflow internally?
At NextLeft, we have a unique workflow because of our pod structure. Each client is assigned to a pod that is composed of a senior client service account manager, as well as, an SEO specialist and/or a paid media account manager.
Why not just hire someone internally?
Sure, you can build the machine yourself, but we don’t recommend it for a few reasons.
The time, effort, and amount of resources you’ll spend to try and find the perfect team to effectively support your business objectives, plus getting them up to speed, paying for the necessary tools (which we already have), and ramping up your own machine far outweighs the cost of partnering with NextLeft.

Do you offer childcare?
Unfortunately, no. However, we will give you time back with your loved ones by simplifying marketing and taking a whole lot off your plate!
How much is this going to cost me?
Just like there is no one-size-fits-all marketing strategy, we don’t have one-size-fits-all pricing for our services. We create custom strategies for each client and work with you to determine what budgets are needed to reach your targets and goals.
That said, there are general minimum budgets needed to really see results. We recommend a minimum monthly budget of $6,000 for ongoing SEO and industry standard for Content Marketing is 25% of annual marketing budgets for production and promotion.
