Local SEO Services
If you have a physical location, the next step to getting the most out of your website is implementing a logical, strategic, concerted local SEO effort. Businesses who use local SEO strategies often see a dramatic uptick in sales.
What is Local SEO?
Local SEO allows you to target a local audience, the people who are close to you and therefore most likely to shop at your location. It is an effective way to optimize your website and market your business, brand or service to local customers. Local SEO simply expands on the idea of SEO by using location-based keywords, like a city or region name and a physical address.
The Components of Local SEO
Using local SEO, companies can effectively and efficiently implement an SEO strategy that targets any local prospects who are searching online for the products and services they offer. NextLeft’s talented, experienced SEO experts are skilled at optimizing onpage content (the words on a website) while also utilizing other important local SEO strategies that can improve search rankings.
One of the first steps of local search engine optimization services is to complete local keyword research. This will identify the specific keywords users most-often search for when looking for businesses, brands or services similar to yours.
Local link building is important not only in the sense that it can help build authority in the eyes of customers, but also because Google really, really likes it when other authoritative sites link to yours. It’s key because Google sees linking as evidence that a site has authority.
Local Citation Services
Keyword research is important, but it’s only one piece of the puzzle. Utilizing local citations by ensuring you’re listed in directories is another strategic way to increase local exposure.
Optimizing content for local SEO means crafting keyword-rich copy that’s both relevant and local-driven, and it can result in booming traffic – both to your site, and in your local customer base. Content optimization is an excellent way to gain attention and rise in the search results.
Google My Business SEO
When you market your business using all the tools that are available to you, it can be wildly successful. The key is knowing how to do it. Internet-based free network Google My Business (GMB) exists to help businesses do just that.
If you build it, they will come…except they haven’t. Why? Website development is not a set it and forget it deal. And how well your site performs, believe it or not, has more to do with than just content. It is essential that after launching a site, you monitor the technical aspects of SEO.
Getting a Local SEO Audit
You’re a savvy business owner with a killer site. You spent a ton getting it designed and launched. But if you have a storefront or office space, you want more than just traffic to your site. What efforts can you use to get people to your location?
In fact, studies show that:
- 88 percent of people who search for a local brand call or visit a business within 24 hours
- 78 percent of consumers who do a local search on mobile end up making an in-store purchase
- And more than 46 percent of Google searches are for local information.
Simply put: local SEO tactics translate to more traffic to your location, which can ultimately mean more sales! It’s all about how users and customers find you online.

It’s simple… in-house marketing teams can’t do it all, but in order to compete in today’s market they need to. That’s where valuable, sustainable, and trusted partnerships are vital. At NextLeft, we only partner with in-house marketing teams to accelerate marketing efforts and maximize growth. This is what we do best.
Together, our senior digital marketers and your in-house leads, partner to create a lay a foundation, create a sustainable path forward, and ever-improve along the way. Our work is catered to you so that a partnership reduces your workload, not increases it. Just like that… viola! No more unnecessary stress because together we can achieve more.
What can NextLeft do for me?
Today’s consumers are on-the-go and want useful, relevant information on demand. To win in today’s competitive market, your business needs to be visible in top search engine results, provide consumers the information they are searching for, and establish trust. Not a short order… we know. Luckily, we have a plan (& we know it works).
First, before we take on any client at NextLeft we conduct a complimentary website audit. This in-depth audit of your site takes a look at overall site health, technical recommendations, competitor analysis, preliminary keyword research, and highlights big opportunities for online growth. Next, after we review the audit and get feedback, our team creates a proposal that includes strategic recommendations, services, and a timeline. Finally, once you decide to partner with us you are assigned to a pod (your new 2-4 person marketing team extension) that will be on your account for the duration of our partnership. This team will get design and execute your plan while providing ongoing support, transparency, and communication along the way.
How do I know if NextLeft is right for me/us?
We partner specifically with in-house marketing teams, however, sometimes there are unique exceptions. Not sure? Let’s talk it out in the discovery phase. If we aren’t a match, we will give you industry advice on where to go- free of charge.
How does NextLeft manage workflow internally?
At NextLeft, we have a unique workflow because of our pod structure. Each client is assigned to a pod that is composed of a senior client service account manager, as well as, an SEO specialist and/or a paid media account manager.
Why not just hire someone internally?
Sure, you can build the machine yourself, but we don’t recommend it for a few reasons.
The time, effort, and amount of resources you’ll spend to try and find the perfect team to effectively support your business objectives, plus getting them up to speed, paying for the necessary tools (which we already have), and ramping up your own machine far outweighs the cost of partnering with NextLeft.

Do you offer childcare?
Unfortunately, no. However, we will give you time back with your loved ones by simplifying marketing and taking a whole lot off your plate!
How much is this going to cost me?
Just like there is no one-size-fits-all marketing strategy, we don’t have one-size-fits-all pricing for our services. We create custom strategies for each client and work with you to determine what budgets are needed to reach your targets and goals.
That said, there are general minimum budgets needed to really see results. We recommend a minimum monthly budget of $6,000 for ongoing SEO and industry standard for Content Marketing is 25% of annual marketing budgets for production and promotion.
