What is eCommerce SEO?
eCommerce SEO is a strategic, analytical effort that helps sites and client bases rapidly grow. By combining traditional techniques for optimization (like utilizing keywords) with newer, powerful tools and strategies, effectively optimized eCommerce sites can rank well for specific keywords.
The Components of a Full Service eCommerce Agency
Any full service eCommerce agency worth its salt doesn’t simply perform a service on your site and run. Wondering how NextLeft can help you? Here’s a list of the comprehensive, ongoing eCommerce SEO services you can expect from a dedicated, experienced agency like NextLeft:
Link Building Services
Link building to increase the rankings of category and product level pages in SERPs is vital for any eCommerce campaign.
Content marketing is a great way to answer the questions of prospective customers and internally link to category and product level pages.
Knowing what keywords to target and which keywords return category or product URLs is one of the first steps in any eCommerce SEO campaign.
If you are an enterprise eCommerce company, you need an SEO agency that knows the ins and outs of selling online.
From filters and indexation issues to keyword targeting and product schema, any eCommerce campaign is going to be technical SEO heavy.
If you are planning on changing domains or consolidating multiple properties, you will need a clear site migration strategy.
Who Needs an eCommerce SEO Company?
While the COVID-19 pandemic closed down many sectors of the economy, online shopping via Google and Amazon has consistently gained traction this year. In fact, the trend to shop online has surged, and there are no signs of slowing down.
eCommerce SEO is increasingly profitable, and it’s important to realize that some relatively small changes to your site can have huge impacts on your overall revenue.
With so many searches taking place each day, the potential to rank on page one (or to lose placement) changes rapidly.
This means it’s imperative for business and site owners keep their finger on the pulse if they want to rank for continued success.
And remember, the placement of your site in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) for a given keyword will also affect the order that products are shown.
The technology we work with
Turning content into customers…
You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers.
Your Title Goes Here
Your content goes here. Edit or remove this text inline or in the module Content settings. You can also style every aspect of this content in the module Design settings and even apply custom CSS to this text in the module Advanced settings.
It’s simple… in-house marketing teams can’t do it all, but in order to compete in today’s market they need to. That’s where valuable, sustainable, and trusted partnerships are vital. At NextLeft, we only partner with in-house marketing teams to accelerate marketing efforts and maximize growth. This is what we do best.
Together, our senior digital marketers and your in-house leads, partner to create a lay a foundation, create a sustainable path forward, and ever-improve along the way. Our work is catered to you so that a partnership reduces your workload, not increases it. Just like that… viola! No more unnecessary stress because together we can achieve more.
What can NextLeft do for me?
Today’s consumers are on-the-go and want useful, relevant information on demand. To win in today’s competitive market, your business needs to be visible in top search engine results, provide consumers the information they are searching for, and establish trust. Not a short order… we know. Luckily, we have a plan (& we know it works).
First, before we take on any client at NextLeft we conduct a complimentary website audit. This in-depth audit of your site takes a look at overall site health, technical recommendations, competitor analysis, preliminary keyword research, and highlights big opportunities for online growth. Next, after we review the audit and get feedback, our team creates a proposal that includes strategic recommendations, services, and a timeline. Finally, once you decide to partner with us you are assigned to a pod (your new 2-4 person marketing team extension) that will be on your account for the duration of our partnership. This team will get design and execute your plan while providing ongoing support, transparency, and communication along the way.
How do I know if NextLeft is right for me/us?
We partner specifically with in-house marketing teams, however, sometimes there are unique exceptions. Not sure? Let’s talk it out in the discovery phase. If we aren’t a match, we will give you industry advice on where to go- free of charge.
How does NextLeft manage workflow internally?
At NextLeft, we have a unique workflow because of our pod structure. Each client is assigned to a pod that is composed of a senior client service account manager, as well as, an SEO specialist and/or a paid media account manager.
Why not just hire someone internally?
Sure, you can build the machine yourself, but we don’t recommend it for a few reasons.
The time, effort, and amount of resources you’ll spend to try and find the perfect team to effectively support your business objectives, plus getting them up to speed, paying for the necessary tools (which we already have), and ramping up your own machine far outweighs the cost of partnering with NextLeft.

Do you offer childcare?
Unfortunately, no. However, we will give you time back with your loved ones by simplifying marketing and taking a whole lot off your plate!
How much is this going to cost me?
Just like there is no one-size-fits-all marketing strategy, we don’t have one-size-fits-all pricing for our services. We create custom strategies for each client and work with you to determine what budgets are needed to reach your targets and goals.
That said, there are general minimum budgets needed to really see results. We recommend a minimum monthly budget of $6,000 for ongoing SEO and industry standard for Content Marketing is 25% of annual marketing budgets for production and promotion.
